Offshore Development Lead Rafael is an expert in using data-led decision making in renewables operations and maintenance. As a keen coder, Rafael has experience in both front- and back-end development. He enjoys tackling tricky problems such as complex business logic development, wind farm data analysis and visualisation. As someone who knows Sennen’s offshore platform inside out, Rafael is always happy to help clients get the most out of our software.
Rafael holds a first class degree in Aero-Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University. He has also completed a PhD focused on development of heuristic approaches for prioritisation of wind turbine maintenance tasks and optimisation of offshore work. Rafael’s passions include renewables, travelling and football. In his spare time, he also enjoys developing board games.
